I just ordered a backpacking backpack for Europe! I've been throwing dollar bills and pennies and whatever into this jar since about October, with the intention of buying everything I need for Europe with the money. I have about $140 right now, which is pretty good. I decided, since it is prime season to order outdoors gear online, I would dip into this amount and order my backpack. DONE AND DONE. I spent only $68 too, so I have a lot of monies leftover. Although... I still need good shoes, a bigger memory card for my camera, a better french dictionary, and a new normal type backpack. I'll just have to keep saving!
